To fulfill the mission of listening to and honoring Black girls’ voices, Dr. Andrea Joseph McCatty of the University of Tennessee – College of Social Work and The F.I.N.D Design engage in collaborative work to help practitioners, parents, and community members center the wellness of Black girls.

This session focuses on the power of belief systems, both negative and positive, and their impact on mental health. Educators will learn how to help students identify and challenge negative belief systems while fostering positive self-perceptions.
